In the 1980s, I was honored to work as a photographer for Hollywood artists in Hong Kong, capturing precious moments when renowned stars graced the city. Among the countless memories I cherish, one truly stands out—the time when Michael Jackson visited Hong Kong. 
For three weeks, he resided in a hotel located in Tsim Sha Tsui, meticulously preparing for his upcoming South East Asia tour. During this period, I had the privilege of spending extensive time with him, fulfilling my professional duties by photographing his journey. The news of his untimely passing evoked a rush of emotions, flooding back the vivid memories of our time together. His boundless passion, unwavering professionalism, and unmatched style left an indelible mark on me. Inspired by the profound impact he had on my life, I embarked on a heartfelt tribute to him through a series of paintings, aiming to capture the essence of his spirit and pay homage to his extraordinary artistry.
