In the mesmerizing portraits captured during the 80s, when I had the privilege of being the photographer for Teresa Teng's best music albums, a deeper connection with her character began to emerge. These images allowed me to perceive beyond the surface, delving into her essence and capturing the essence of her soulful melodies. Inspired by this profound connection, 

I embarked on a creative journey, infusing graphic movements into the portraits to express the emotions and sensations evoked by her music. Through this artistic transformation, I aimed to convey the ethereal nature of her melodies, the way they transcend boundaries and touch the hearts of millions. This composite painting becomes a bridge between the tangible and intangible, capturing not only Teresa Teng's external beauty but also the profound impact of her music on the human spirit.

This painting photography showcases the remarkable work of art featuring Ms Flora Cheung embodying the enigmatic Mona Lisa, and that is featured at my very first photography exhibition, at the Art Centre in 1979.

Created in a time before the digital era, every effect in this piece was meticulously crafted by hand, paying homage to the meticulous artistry of the past. From the expert makeup and styling to the carefully chosen clothing, Flora flawlessly resembles the iconic Mona Lisa, with no digital manipulation involved.

In this composite painting, I delve into the captivating persona of Shao Fong Fong, captured in the late 70s when I served as a photography consultant for Elegance magazine. At first glance, she exudes a determined, business executive woman look, projecting an image of strength and authority. Through this artwork, I aim to peel back the layers and reveal the duality that defines Shao Fang Fang.
